Inspectorate Unit

At the end of each financial year a committee would be set up by the State Accountant General in compliance with the establishment circular of the inspectorate units MO/C.66/S/VOLI at December, 2000 with the mandate of inspecting and ascertaining that, MDA’s Books of Accounts are maintained in accordance with financial regulation, and acceptable Accounting standards and manual, as well as verifying posting into cash book, DVEA Books, maintenance of Asset register and the preparation of bank reconciliation statement. A committee was set up by the Accountant General in order to inspect all the Book of Account maintains by the MDA’s during the year 2014.
